To Auburndale speedway, Racers and Fans on this board, there have been many things said on this board over the past week (mainly out of frustration) by fans, other racers, and myself and I would like to apologize for the unnecessary comments that were made. Most everyone knows or has heard about the disqualification last week in tech for the mini stocks and has voiced their opinion whether good or bad, I should have not made my arguments public. What happened after the race was between the track and me and whether I agree or disagree, it was our business. I have raced at Auburndale speedway since the 60’s and my biggest rivalry has been with Rex Guy, the owner. Rex, I apologize for my frustration and look forward to many more years racing with and against you. To Chris Narramore and the Auburndale techs, thank you for being professional with me and I understand that you were doing your job, sorry if I made it harder. To Chris Spring and Donnie Guy, I have known both of you for many years and I would like you to know that I wasn’t going after you two personally and I understand that your both upset with me and you should be. I’m sorry that I drug both of you into this situation. Donnie made some good points in a post that I have taken to heart, thank you. To the complete ownership and staff at the track, Donnie, Chris, and all of the mini stock class, and finally to the fans, I would like sincerely apologize for any embarrassment that I have caused to the fans and speedway. I would also like to thank my wife for helping me write this and showing me how and what spell check is. Signed Eugene Davidson
